This is a must, it’s easy to install just buy it. I don't know the legalities of not having tail lights displayed but realistically no one is gonna know if you are breaking or turning without them.

Light kit is a must. When loaded my motorcycle blocked the taillights on my truck. Now people can see my tailights.taillights. only thing I wish the manufacturer used would be a self tapping screw rather than a sheet metal sscrew or woodscrew to mount the it. But overall this is a great light kit and plugs right in to the existing trailer light plug with a flat 4 prong plug.

Glad I went with a beefy rack instead of buying something questionable. This rack gives me entire peace of mind hauling my bikes around.

It's built great, it's simple to use, and honestly looks great folded up as a rear guard when not in use.

I didn't want to rent a trailer because the speed limit was 55mph. So I stumbled across MotoTote to haul my 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 around 500mi with my Audi Q3. I assembled the MotoTote as instructed, loaded my motorcycle and strapped it down. Every wiggle of the bike going down the road made me nervous on my first trip. Purchased a reboxed sport carrier. Came in a nice undamaged box and it was packaged very well. It came with all new hardware. There was a few very slight scratches and I could see witness marks from previous assembly but the carrier was like new actually. I'm very happy with it. Carries my yamaha tw200 with ease and it doesn't rock around. The redesigned attachment bolt works excellent. Very easy to load and I like the way the ramp stores. I did also end up purchasing the light kit for it as my motorcycle blocks the taillights. Very strong and very high quality carrier. And made in the USA!

Afters years of using a cheap hitch carrier to haul my dirt bikes I’ve upgraded to a MotoTote M3 and couldn’t be happier. Installation Tip: I highly recommend following the YouTube video tutorial instead of the PDF manual — it’s much clearer and easier to follow. Also, using a bolt lubricant during Step One made tightening much smoother and less frustrating.

I was admittedly a bit skeptical about loading my brand-new, 540-pound BMW GSA 900 onto the back of my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The idea of hauling such a substantial bike had me envisioning worst-case scenarios. For extra peace of mind, I even called MotoTote directly, and their customer service was incredibly helpful and reassuring.

After carefully re-reading my motorcycle liability coverage and reviewing MotoTote’s detailed online instructions, I assembled the MotoTote Max and made sure every bolt was properly tightened. Loading the bike solo was surprisingly manageable, especially with the help of a curbside to reduce the ramp angle. Once the bike rolled into the front wheel chuck, it felt stable right away.

I secured it with the MotoTote straps, double-checked the anti-wobble hitch (which I tightened again for good measure), and hit the road—cautiously at first. But as the miles went by, my confidence in this carrier grew. Even at 75 mph, crossing bridges and hitting minor road imperfections, the bike remained solid with barely any movement.

By the third day, heading home, I still remained aware of the load but felt completely secure in the MotoTote’s performance. After unloading the bike, I inspected the hitch and was impressed by the minimal wear.

In short, this carrier exceeded my expectations. It’s well-built, thoughtfully designed, and has made motorcycle transport so much easier and more mobile. MotoTote really nailed it with this product—highly recommended!

Good piece of kit. I recently carried my Africa Twin Adventure Sports and WR450 about 700km(350KM each) without issue. Truck is a 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Offroad. Africa Twin with crash bars weighs roughly 540 pounds including fuel.

The Mototote rack is solid, fairly easy to assemble, easy to load and should last for many years in hauling my XR650L. Rear mounting allows full use of the truck bed, and use of the bed rack, optimizing storage and hauling capacity. Thanks for a great product, Mototote!

Regular ratchet straps didn’t cut it because they allowed too much wiggle and eventually slacked enough to seems sketchy. These straps kept the wheels tight and secure for several four hour drives. Highly recommended.

I wish I would’ve bought the straps a long time ago. The tire sling works like a champ if you’re not using this, you’re missing out makes it very easy to strap down the rear tire, especially when the front tire is in a chalk

As far as the ratcheting straps with the self loop, I wasted a lot of money buying other straps when I should’ve just went with Moto tote. Quality is there and great customer service when I called for a veterans discount they were motivated to give me a discount so thank you.

The Mini Ramp Hardware Kit was very easy to install onto my Mini MotoTote Bike Rack. Now when I park, off load my Ebike, I attach the ramp to the bike rack, put a lock on it and go...very convenient!
