It is important your vehicle meet the hauling criteria for your motorcycle.

To calculate the requirements for your motorcycles, add the weight of the carrier to your motorcycles, then multiply that number by 10 to factor for tongue capacity. Follow this example to calculate the minimum required towing capacity for hauling a two 200 lb. dirt bikes with a Max Dual carrier. 200 lbs. + 200 lbs. (2 Dirt Bikes) + 60 lbs. (Carrier) = 460 lbs. 460 lbs. (Net Weight) x 10 = 4,600 lbs. (Minimum Required Towing Capacity)

(2) 250 lb. motorcycles = 5,600 lbs. minimum required towing capacity for vehicle.
