Technology & Features
HitchLift Receiver Tube
Innovative 2" receiver tube counteracts common vehicle hitch droop with a slight upward bend, ensuring that the rack is angled correctly from the back of the vehicle. Provides additional ground clearance, attachment of ramp and distance from vehicle adjustability.
MTX Platform
Heavy-duty steel main support connects to 2" receivers, hauls up to 500 lbs. (227 kgs.), supports track, chock, orientation, and distance from vehicle adjustability, alongside the attachment of innovative components.
StableStop Chock
Adjustable two-piece front tire mount locks tires up to 4.75" (120 mm) wide into track, maximizes support, and helps balance the bike upright while securing tie-downs.
Angled Steel Track
Angled track wedges rear tire sizes up to 6" (152 mm) wide into track and accommodates up to 65" (165 cm) wheelbases.
BroadPull Arm
Patented front tie-down arm provides main support for motorcycle stabilization. Rear tie down arm prevents rear tire from bouncing out of track.
EasyLoad Ramp
A long webbed steel ramp increases tire's traction and eases the loading angle. Ramp hooks into tire track and will not disengage during loading.
ZeroWobble+ Hitch Mount
Upgraded single-bolt hitch mount installs quickly, requires fewer tools and eliminates rack movement in transport.

"I purchased an offshore model first thinking they would all be the same, but it was a bad assumption on my part. The MotoTote carrier is substantially better. "
Easy to put together, it holds the bike securely, the location of the tie-down straps connections is better than those carriers that have it on the center of the carrier. It's a bit heavy so moving it around the garage is a bit of a pain but that's what you get with a sturdy product.
I ended up going with the extended hitch to clear the spare tire on my defender. The LED kit is also key since the bike blocks my brake lights, so I'd recommend getting that one as well.
I had some issues with the delivery, but the MotoTote team was very responsive and top notch.

Mototote m3
I recently bought my first dirt bike, was looking for a hitch carrier since I have the back of my trucks bed with tools, so I was looking at the harber freight hitch which had alot of mixed reviews, some good some bad, almost went with the harbor freight brand but had read a comment that someone had liked the mototoe brand better, so after watching videos and reviews I ordered the m3 yes it was twice the price but we'll worth it, for the first drive I drove from center tx to carlsbad nm and it worked great, was steady and didn't wobble at all, obviously I strapped it down good but overall the carrier itself is sturdy and stout!! Has good tie down points and it feels heavy duty which is what u want when carrying a heavy bike, I have a klx140rf dirt bike probably weighs 250ish pounds and rode like a champ on the carrier.

Works well, qc/shipping issues
Overall a solid rack and good design. Works much better than the cheap one I was borrowing. Cam buckle straps I ordered are nice. Anti-wobble is good, rack does flex some with my 250lb enduro bike...probably wouldn't take it to the weight limit confidently. Wish the ramp was longer. Came with scratches, box was damaged a bit, missing one bolt. Obviously handled rough both at the factory and in shipping. Not quite the quality of care I would expect for the price or domestic manufacture.

Excellent Product
Purchased the M3 carrier to transport my Honda CRF300L and am very happy with the product. The M3 strikes the ideal balance between quality design and construction, weight, and cost. Features I really liked: front and rear tiedown bars, ramp length, and tiedown straps with carabiner style hooks. Very confident that the bike is well secured.

Most impressive!
Had a chance to finally use my MotoTote M3 carrier this weekend with a 500 mile break in trip. Super impressed in almost every way. Hauling a 2024 KLX 300 maybe 320 pounds fully loaded w gas and bags. After properly strapping in, she was super solid and barely a wiggle worth mentioning. I was nervous at first, for sure, but after about 15 minutes, it was clear to me that it's not going anywhere. My only anxiety was did I strap it correctly or what if a strap slips or breaks. If an unfortunate occurrence was to happen, It would be only my fault and not on the MotoTote. It was a rock! Many more happy miles to come, I am sure. I stopped a few times to check on things but that turned out to be a complete waste of time. FYI, I did add an additional Rhyno Hitch support for peace of mind to aid in Up and down movement which seemed to work perfectly. Got many thumbs up along the way. Hauling with a 2024 Toyota 4 Runner Pro. Great product and highly recommend. I did more research than the normal man and am very happy with the outcome. Impressive product that is very very well made.

Moderate dirt roads work the carrier loose
Riding down mild to moderate forest service roads, cause the hitch to work its way loose, which I then use your wrench nut to retighten. It becomes measurable loose again about 10 minutes later. On regular highway roads it stays tight.

Seems to be good value and a strong carrier.
Very nicely built and I am very satisfied with the strength. I was disappointed to see that it only had a 1/2" hole for the receiver pin. Every vehicle I have ever owned uses a larger 5/8" pin. I had to drill it out to use my existing locking pin for my RV and my truck. Not a big deal IF you have a proper drill and quality bit. Also the included non-rattle hardware was pretty flimsy. I used a nice heavy one from Amazon and its now rock solid.
The rear tie down anchor points are spaced so that the straps up and over my tire barely touch the axle nuts on my rear tire, causing some rubbing as it moves going down the road. A tiny bit wider would be better for my bike, perhaps other bikes will be better.
Overall I would buy it again.

M3
I'll have zero concern going down the road with my drz 400 on the mototote. Appears very well made and it was simple as pie to put together even without directions. One problem that is 100 percent on me is that the tires on my supermoto are too wide for the track and wheel chock on the m3, wish I would've paid more attention to that and got a mototote that would accommodate my tires properly. Wish it wasn't my fault and I could blame mototote but, that is on me and the unit itself is a 5 start unit. I know others have stated that their mototote carries arrived scratched up and missing paint but mine arrived pretty well perfect condition.

Good product; details make the difference
Pleased with the quality and performance of the M3. As advertised, and good value. Accessories a bit frustrating.
Straps work well, but what you get in a bundle confusing and ended up purchasing more than needed. The LED light kit is fine, yet it would be nice if it was set up to use machine bolts instead of sheet metal screws. Twisted a head off in the process. And as frequently reported, the license plate bracket needed to be modified to fit. No light and more sheet metal screws to attach the plate.
Consider a “bundle” such that the lights and license plate bracket are included with good value as an opposed to purchasing individually. Presumably most will need so as not to get pulled
over and it felt like I was being nickel
and dimed.
Good product; tidying up the details suggested.
