TECHNOLOGY & FEATURES

MTX Platform

Heavy-duty steel main support connects to 2" receivers, hauls up to 600 lbs. (272 kgs.), supports chock, track, orientation, and distance from vehicle adjustability, alongside the attachment of innovative components.

StableStop Chock Wide

One piece tire mount locks front tires up to 5" (125 mm) wide into chock, maximizes support, and holds the bike upright while securing tie-downs.

WebGrip Track

Woven steel track reduces carrier weight, secures rear tires up to 8.5" (215 mm) and accommodates up to a 65" (165 cm) wheelbase.

BroadPull+ Arm (Front)

Patented front tie-down arm provides main support for motorcycle stabilization. Rear tie down arm prevents rear tire from bouncing out of track.

EasyLoad Ramp

A long webbed steel ramp increases tire's traction and eases the loading angle. Ramp hooks into tire track and will not disengage during loading.

ZeroWobble+ Hitch Mount

Upgraded single-bolt hitch mount installs quickly, requires fewer tools and eliminates rack movement in transport.

MotoTote Sport Motorcycle Carrier Customer
John - MotoTote Customer

"I had a cheap carrier but I did not trust it with my sport bike, then bought a great box trailer, but then got tired of hauling trailer to track days, with extra gas, bridge tolls for trailers, and having to drive 55 with a trailer. Now I have 1500 Ram Van with MotoTote for ZX10R. Love it!"

Choose quality at first sight.

I have used my Moto tote Sport version for my dirtbike my trials bike and my supermoto. It’s truly a high quality build and precision cut. I realized that several times I picked up this 60 lbs hitch I was picking it up by the ramp that is fastened to the hitch. The quality and fit is so tight a calibration you can grab it anywhere even from the removable ramp that is retained by one clip and one pin that will bear the wait of the whole hitch. Buy a Moto tote with confidence that you’re buying the best hitch carrier available. Buy the right one first. Pay once , cry once. I love it. I hope this helps.

Product is good quality; wish I could say the same for the hardware.

Overall, I would still purchase this rack. Great style and quality. BUT...The hardware (bolts and nuts) are junk. They are not hardened and two of them stripped as they were a bit too short and only a few threads engaged the nut before the required torquing. As a result, they both stripped.

Great product and customer service

This is my second mototote. It is super useful and the quality is great! This time around I had a piece missing a bolt hole and the team was incredibly helpful and quick to reply. I appreciate their help getting a new piece!

Awesome system!!!

Love the moto tote i just purchased. Way way way more sturdy than others out there, you do pay for that but well worth the cost. Not happy with the small pin hole as my pin is 5/8 so i drilled it up and use my locking pin with an anti rattle kit for the small 2” receiver which had to be increased to 3” becomes thats whats in my F250 The rear tire tie down is bad ass! highly recommend the whole set up!

Mototote Sport - very good build quality

The Mototote is more expensive than other brands, but it is value for money and great quality.
The LED kit is a great addition and I could easily fit a license plate light myself.
It is absolutely rock solid with the bike on it and it will be so much more convenient to take my bike to the track than hauling a trailer.

Solid unit, measure your wheelbase

The rack is well constructed and the long ramp makes for easier loading and unloading.

It is short for a Yamaha T7. You have to lift the bike to free the loading ramp.

A downside is the antiwobble. After 6 or so uses it will not tighten and comes loose almost immediately. Consider drilling out the rack for a standard hitch pin and external anti-wobble.

I would still buy again, but unless you are prepared to customize for your wheelbase do measure first.

Thank you for your review. You are correct that the limiting factor on wheelbase is getting the loading ramp out from under the back tire after loading. Please check that the front wheel stop is in the full forward position.
Regarding the ZeroWobble+, of course we'll gladly send you a replacement.
If installed correctly, the connection of the rack to the hitch will be rock solid as shown in the instructions here - https://mototote.com/pages/sport-step-5
We very strongly advise against drilling out the hitch pin hole.
