This is a must, it’s easy to install just buy it. I don't know the legalities of not having tail lights displayed but realistically no one is gonna know if you are breaking or turning without them.

Light kit is a must. When loaded my motorcycle blocked the taillights on my truck. Now people can see my tailights.taillights. only thing I wish the manufacturer used would be a self tapping screw rather than a sheet metal sscrew or woodscrew to mount the it. But overall this is a great light kit and plugs right in to the existing trailer light plug with a flat 4 prong plug.

Easy installation and it works very well.

When towing multiple bikes of various sizes, some cover my rear truck taillights and some don’t. These eliminate having to put janky magnetic ones on the hauler. I even had a guy compliment the setup in a parking lot. Wouldn’t hesitate o buy again

If you purchase the Mototote motorcycle carrier you should also get the LED lighting kit
I installed on a Winnebago Navion and the LED
Kit almost doubled the visibility from the rear
Well worth the price especially if the lights are obstructed by the motorcycle
Takes fifteen minutes to install

The screw holes on the brackets do not line up with the ones pre-drilled on my Max+ Dual. The cable is not long enough for both lights to line up with the holes. Additionally, the pre-drilled holes in the carrier are too small for the screws provided. I tried all screws and all holes and none worked. I didn’t have a drill available at the time so I grabbed some zip ties had I had laying around. A year later it is still this way, too lazy to make modifications.

Super easy install and the lights are nice and bright at night! So glad I decided to add these to my rack more safety and protecting my investment!
